In a vintage that was initially challenging in the Rhône, Frank Balthazar has achieved a true feat, producing a Cornas of incredible persistence: it tastes of black olive tapenade and pepper, it's deep and robust, yet so promising. Vinification is done with whole bunches, followed by a two-week maceration and 18 months of aging.
