Peter is one of the rare winegrowers in this micro-appellation of \u003cstrong\u003eMâcon-Bray\u003c\/strong\u003e. \u003cbr\u003e From the start, he was keen to cultivate his vines \u003cstrong\u003eorganically\u003c\/strong\u003e. His peasant common sense, his love of the plant and his convictions naturally pushed him to adopt this method of cultivation. It is on these \u003cstrong\u003e4.5 hectares\u003c\/strong\u003e of vines that Peter can today, 10 years later, look back and admire the progress he has made. \u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eNatural wines vinified without compromise\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe soils vary between the \u003cstrong\u003eclay-limestone\u003c\/strong\u003e typical of the \u003cstrong\u003eMâconnais\u003c\/strong\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003ered granite sands\u003c\/strong\u003e and \u003cstrong\u003eiridescent marls from the Triassic\u003c\/strong\u003e. Most of the vines are located around \u003cstrong\u003e300m\u003c\/strong\u003e above sea level. In the vineyards, Peter uses \u003cstrong\u003eno synthetic chemicals\u003c\/strong\u003e, no weedkillers, no insecticides, and no fungicides. \u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eGentle maceration and geo-sensitive cuvées\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll the wines ferment with \u003cstrong\u003eindigenous yeasts\u003c\/strong\u003e, the macerations are carried out depending on the grape varieties either by carbonic maceration or by destemming. The wines are unfined, unfiltered. \u003cbr\u003e Plutonic, Megalith, Pierres Levées, Cosmic… evocative names which demonstrate Peter's interest in geobiology.
