His beginnings familiarized him with classic and traditional methods of winemaking, an experience which confirmed his vocation. Adrien De Mello continued his training in viti-oenology in Beaune, alongside prestigious winegrowers such as \u003cstrong\u003ePhilippe Pacalet\u003c\/strong\u003e and the \u003cstrong\u003eDerain\u003c\/strong\u003e brothers, before multiplying his experiences in the \u003cstrong data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/mireehaute.com\/collections\/rhone\" title=\"Rhône\" target=\"_blank\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\" data-mce-href=\"https:\/\/mireehaute.com\/collections\/rhone\"\u003eRhône\u003c\/a\u003e\u0026nbsp;\u003c\/strong\u003evalley.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3 class=\"\" data-end=\"859\" data-start=\"813\"\u003eSouth Africa, the US, and back to Quebec\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"\" data-end=\"1142\" data-start=\"860\"\u003eAdrien De Mello then set down his bags in South Africa, the United States, then again in Quebec. These experiences constituted a true school of vines, winemaking, and \u003cstrong\u003enatural wine\u003c\/strong\u003e. Finally, it was in \u003cstrong\u003eChâteauneuf-du-Pape\u003c\/strong\u003e that Adrien carried out his first vinification in natural mode, within a \u003cstrong\u003ebiodynamic\u003c\/strong\u003e estate, an approach that he would later adopt within his own estate.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2 class=\"\" data-end=\"1225\" data-start=\"1188\"\u003eA committed venture in the Loire\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003ch3 class=\"\" data-end=\"1312\" data-start=\"1272\"\u003eBirth of Domaine de la Petite Sœur\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"\" data-end=\"1643\" data-start=\"1313\"\u003eAfter having acquired solid experience in the southern Rhône valley, Adrien returned to the \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/mireehaute.com\/collections\/loire\" title=\"Loire\" target=\"_blank\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\" data-mce-href=\"https:\/\/mireehaute.com\/collections\/loire\"\u003e\u003cstrong data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eLoire\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e in \u003cstrong\u003e2015\u003c\/strong\u003e to settle there permanently. He created his own estate, the \u003cstrong\u003ePetite Sœur estate\u003c\/strong\u003e, on just under\u003cstrong\u003e 4 hectares\u003c\/strong\u003e of vines already worked in \u003cstrong\u003eorganic farming\u003c\/strong\u003e.
