It comes from a plot of just over one hectare, planted in 1960 on the Portlandian plateau of Meurville, where the clay soils are particularly stony. The old vines bring together Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay, and Pinot Blanc, vinified and aged in several different wines' barrels before a long aging in the bottle under cork. This 2016 Brut Nature reveals a beautiful vinosity, with yellow fruits, notes of candied fruit and sweet spices, a full-bodied palate and a chalky finish.
